Radio Replication Load Balancing

The project titled "An Optimized Radio Replication Combined Load Balancing Scheme for Network Server Cluster in Large-Scale LoRaWAN" won First Runner-Up at HKEPC 2022 (Tertiary Education Category), HKIE.

The scheme implements a preprocessing mechanism on the load balancer, aggregating replicated LoRaWAN packets received by multiple LoRa gateways while keeping the original gateway-added information in a compact manner. This method reduces the need for server processing of duplicate packets, and the number of nodes needed in a server cluster.

This project was joint venture of the IoTLab. Lee was one of the members on the team.
